@advice
2: To use a ship, go up to the shore, and equip it.
2: When you want to come back to solid ground, come back to the shore, and equip a pair of shoes.
2: To make full use of crew you hire, you must "equip" them.
2: If you earn enough money, you can hire more crew at taverns.
2: Be sure to "sell" your old crew item or hiring new crew will be even more expensive!
2: I know how I know how hard it can be fighting all the fish and crabs and lobsters on this island.
1: He is very brave!
2: However, out at sea there are far far worse creatures about.
2: You must be careful to get out out of your depth!
1: <laughs>
2: The folklore of the locals on this island does not hold true at sea.
2: The strongest monsters are not neccessarily those which are furthest East.
2: Indeed, the most powerful monsters of all are to be found far, far to the North East, in the infamously harsh Deep, Stormy Ocean.
2: You will be unable to travel to that area of this world yet, however, until you have greatly improved your skills of seamanship.
2: Maybe later someone will teach you the knowledge neccessary to reach those terrible seas - but I can't see why you would ever want to!
2: If we visit Hencrania, we could pay a visit to the Great Library there.
2: It holds records showing the rough location of where all the different sea monsters are to be found in these lands.
1: I can't see how the stupid Hencran could possibly be capable of something like that!
2: There are also many shops in Hencrania, which could be useful if you were looking to upgrade any of your equipment.
2: If you do wish to go there, you may want to walk across to the far South West of this land before travelling North.
2: This way you can avoid having to fight the Pink Octopuses which are to be found along the trade route to Hencrania, which are known to tear men and ships asunder.
2: If you ever wish to hear my opinion on matters again, just set up a camp and I'll be happy to help you in any way I can <right click on him>.

1: Most of the nasty creatures you find round here live in or near the sea, so if you wish to go hunting, stick to the coast.
1: What is more, local folklore has it that sea monsters are afraid of the setting sun.
1: Whatever the real reason, on this island you'll tend to find that the further West you go, the tougher the monsters tend to be.
1: So if you're having trouble, try walking along the coast further East.
1: One other thing: there are some monsters round these parts that don't live in or near the sea, great big spiders and the like.
1: However, creatures like that aren't to be found just lying about in the open.
1: They're to be found in woods, forests, caves, that sort of thing.
1: They also tend to be quite a bit tougher than the monsters found on the coast near this fine port.
